⭐️ CONCERT T-SHIRT

All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of the concert fee (These have been handed out this week - during week 9). Your performer will need to arrive in their 2025 Concert Shirt and Black tights.

⭐️ CONCERT MEMORABILIA

We engage the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a download link of their dancers show included as a part of your concert pack fee. All parents will be able to access the link via band in early January, please make sure you are on the band app to avoid missing out.

REHEARSAL

At NRG Allstars we understand that the end of year is a super busy time for families and as such we no longer hold a separate rehearsal day but instead hold a Rehearsal week in normal class time which has been happening this week (week 9). All our dancers and cheerleaders are looking fabulous and we can't wait for you to see the amazing show.

⭐️ On concert day we will have an on-stage rehearsal. This is so that our dancers and cheerleaders can have a practise on stage so they are feeling nice and confident and ready to shine during the concert.

CONCERT DAY PROCEDURES

⭐️ DROP OFF & PICK UP:
On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair and makeup done and wearing their NRG finale T-shirt and black tights before being dropped off. Students are required to arrive at 1:00PM.

During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area (you will be directed once inside the venue). Students will then head backstage ready for rehearsal. Please note the rehearsal will be starting straight away so please be sure to arrive on time.

All students will be picked up from the foyer after the concert, there will be plenty of photo stations so please be sure to use them :)

⭐️ SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY:

As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in before going backstage. Only NRG staff and registered parents / ex dancer helpers are permitted backstage. We are unable to run messages or food to students, so please make sure they have everything before they come backstage for rehearsal and the concert. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices and jewellery. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.

⭐️ MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please leave this at the front desk with an NRG staff member.

UNDERWEAR

Please be aware that under stage lights, dark coloured or patterned underwear do not look good under light coloured costumes. Please make sure your child is wearing flesh coloured underwear.

HAIR

Dancers and Cheerleaders will require a slick middle part low ponytail

You will need to use a lot of hairspray/gel and a fine tooth comb to achieve the slick look and possibly multiple elastics. Please also use an elastic the same colour as their hair. Ponytail is to be straight. Bun net will be required as students in the Ballet Production will need to have a bun.

Please note, for boys neat and tidy hair is all that is required.

MAKEUP

Stage makeup needs to be heavier than normal day makeup. Please try not to cake it on or make it look like a mask as this does not look natural on stage.

Apply make-up base. Foundation needs to be darker than what their normal shade would be. Apply pinkish brown tone blush to cheekbones.

Apply brown eye shadow on lid – work from the inside corner along the lash line. You may also like to use white under the brow to highlight.

Define the eyes with black wing eyeliner. Use along the top and bottom lash lines.

Add lots of black mascara to both top and bottom lashes. False eye lashes are optional for teen students.

Apply red lipstick.

Please note, boys are not required to wear makeup.

JEWELLERY AND NAIL POLISH

No Jewellery is to be worn (including earrings), please leave all jewellery at home. Also, please remove all nail polish.

WHAT TO BRING

FOOD & DRINK

Please make sure your performer has plenty of water, feel free to pack a LOW MESS snack/earlier dinner or we will be doing a Subway order for our performers which will be delivered to each performer during their break, please order here:

SUBWAY LINK : Order by clicking here

Please note these orders are by Tuesday 16th December. We will be ordering the subway this day, so late orders will not be able to be placed.

PACKING CHECKLIST

It is suggested that students bring all of their belongings in a small plastic box. It is much easier than rummaging through a bag. Please write their names all over the box and on everything that they bring, every year we have so many pairs of dance shoes and uniforms lost that are never claimed. Please use the following checklist:

Stockings and dance underwear

Concert t-shirt and black tights (wear on arrival)

All dance shoes

Makeup for touch-ups

Extra bobby pins, safety pins, hair spray, elastics

Water, water and more water

COSTUMES

Our fabulous costumes are one of our absolute favourite times of the year! 🌟

Here’s what you can expect as we make this magical moment happen:

In-Class Try-Ons:

This week (week 9) during classes we have been trying on all costumes to make sure they fit just right and are ready for concert day. Costumes will be sent home with your performers this week.

Keeping Costumes Safe:

Once costumes arrive home please make sure they are hung up on a coat hanger in a safe place. This helps us make sure everything is ready to go for their big moment!

Extra Notes:

- From this point forward, it will be your responsibility to pack and bring the costumes on Concert Day.

- Costumes/Concert Shirts will be held if accounts aren't up to date. Please make sure your account is up to date to ensure your costume can come home before the concert.

We’re so excited to see all of our performers in their dazzling costumes!

✨ Let’s make this year the most memorable one yet! 🌟
