CONCERT TSHIRT
This week in class all students will receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of the concert fee. You will need to pack this concert shirt as all students will wear this during the finale at the end of the show.
CONCERT MEMORABILIA
We engage the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a digital download of their dancers show included as a part of your concert pack fee. All parents will be able to access the link via band in early January, please make sure you are on the app to avoid missing out.
At NRG Allstars we understand that the end of year is a super busy time for families and as such we no longer hold a separate rehearsal day but instead hold a Rehearsal week in normal class time which has been happening this week. All our dancers and cheerleaders are looking fabulous and we can't wait for you to see the amazing show.
⭐️ On concert day we will have an on-stage rehearsal. This is so that our dancers and cheerleaders can have a practise on stage so they are feeling nice and confident and ready to shine during the concert.
DROP OFF & PICK UP
On concert day, all of our students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair done (2 x high wrap buns with middle part) and wearing their pink theatrical stockings and costume upon arrival. Students are required to arrive at 9:15am.
During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area (you will be directed once inside the venue). Students will will receive a wristband and will meet their buddy who will take them backstage and get them ready for their big performance.
All students will need to be picked up from the stage after the presentation, we will organise this and ask you to come collect your child by ages to avoid the little ones getting into the big crowd. Students will stay in this location and need to see a teacher before they leave. There will be plenty photo stations so please be sure to use them :)
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we send you through the concert day procedure pathway this week so you know the layout for when you arrive.
SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY
To help with student organisation and safety, all students will be put into small groups with an allocated "Buddy". This buddy will stay with your child the entire backstage process with lots of fun games, colouring in and story telling. Your child's buddy will help them change their shoes and get them ready for stage.
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in before going backstage. Only NRG staff and registered parent / ex dancer helpers are permitted backstage. We are unable to run messages or food to students, so please make sure they have everything before they come backstage for rehearsal and the concert. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices and jewellery. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please leave this at the front desk with an NRG staff member.
⭐️ WHAT TO WEAR
Please have your Lil Star arrive in their pink theatrical stockings and costume - Please have shoes packed in a labelled bag, along with concert T-shirt. Starburst please arrive in your competition uniform.

Stockings and shoes are available for purchase at the studio in the lead up to concert or they are available from any dance shop.

UNDERWEAR
Please be aware that under stage lights, dark coloured or patterned underwear do not look good under light coloured costumes. Please make sure your child is wearing flesh coloured underwear.
HAIR
Dancers will require 2 wrap around buns with a middle part.
You will need to use a lot of hairspray/gel and a fine tooth comb to achieve the slick look and possibly multiple elastics. Please also use an elastic the same colour as their hair. Bun net may be required for buns.
MAKEUP
No make up is required for our Lil Shining Stars students.
JEWELLERY AND NAIL POLISH
No Jewellery is to be worn (including earrings), please leave all jewellery at home. Also, please remove all nail polish.
⭐️ WHAT TO BRING
FOOD & DRINK
Please make sure your Lil Star has their water bottle with their name clearly labelled on it. Please make sure they've had a little snack before they arrive so they don't get hungry during the concert. We will be done by 12:15pm so they'll be able to eat again then.
PACKING CHECKLIST
It is suggested that students bring all of their belongings in a small plastic box. It is much easier than rummaging through a bag. Please write their names all over the box and on everything that they bring, every year we have so many pairs of dance shoes and uniforms lost that are never claimed. Please use the following checklist:
